Yolanda

By Sabine Riefler
Intermediate

Summer is the season of lightness, warmth and life outside. This tank top is the perfect outfit for a bright summer day. The lace patterns give it lightness and a lovely drape, the silk's own shimmer imitates the sunshine even on an overcast day.

This shirt started with holidays in Denmark and a thorough exploration of the local yarn shops. The shop we found this yarn at, was only situated 10 mins from the beach. My daughter immediately fell in love with Debbie Bliss's Pure Silk and reminded me that she loves knitted tops. I could not resist the combination of beach, yarn shop and daughterly wishes.
