I have always loved the color combination of red and pink. It reminds me of the cinnamon candy canes that I used to eat when I was a child. I wanted to design something using the color combination but could never find a yarn that was "just right". So I called upon my friend Samantha, the indie dyer behind sKNITches to custom dye a colorway for me. The yarn turned out exactly the way I envisioned! With those cinnamon candy canes in mind, I used a cable pattern for the yoke and body which reminded me of a wrapped candy. Pair this cardigan with a dressy dress and your toddler will look as sweet as those wrapped candies.
