2011, what a year. I think a whirlwind describes it well! It wasn't the easiest year for many, and those of us who make Petite Purls happen were not immune to that. But what helps keep all of us going is our love for our craft, whether it's knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, what have you. I know that I personally find solace in the repetitiveness of knitting stitches, putting me in a meditative or zen state of mind.

This past year brought a lot of great things to Petite Purls: a new layout for the magazine, our second anniversary and continuous wonderful designs by incredibly talented people.

And now comes 2012! We are ringing in the New Year with much optimism for all and plenty of beautiful handcrafts for the future. We are delighted to bring you this issue: an All-Accessories Issue. We thought it would be the perfect "pick me up" after all of the holiday knitting from last month.

Petite Purls has a lot of great plans for the future and we're here to stay. We thank all of our readers, designers, advertisers for all of your support. Happy New Year!
